We cook whole pigs with the head on, the weight of the pig will be between 50 and 70 Kg - depending on the number of guests. We can serve more than one pig at a large event.

Quality is the key here. All of our produce is, wherever possible, locally sourced and traceable. We only use outdoor reared British Pork and Beef. Our Venison is from wild Scottish stock. Our bread is baked using the finest ingredients from John's bakery at Colston Bassett.
We will endeavour to find you the highest quality produce, at the best price possible, whatever your requirements are. Our products are always incredibly popular. We have catered for hundreds of wedding parties and special occasions at clients' homes. We provide a service to many venues - including Thrumpton Hall, Hargate Hall, Prestwold Hall and Blotts Country Club - please ask for us by name.

MEAT ORIGIN: We follow Best Practise Guidelines from the Meat and Livestock Commission and only use local meat. All of our pork comes from Des Allen's farm near Newark. He has Farm Assured status, giving us peace of mind regarding animal welfare. These cross bred pigs live outside for the majority of their lives. They are fed on the farm's own barley and wheat, mixed on site with vitamins.
We only use English beef and turkey. All of our venison is from wild Scottish Stock.

WEDDING BUFFETS - A relaxed, informal alternative for the main meal, the Hog Roast or mixed Carvery can be served alongside our delicious buffet. Have hot new potatoes, Ju's special colesaw and a garden salad for just £3 pp. We do an amazing Greek salad and very tasty sliced tomato & mozzarella salad. Homemade vegetarian options provided for your non-meat eating guests.

Country canapes - served off beautiful plates by us- we usually allow 8 per person. Mark makes his special mini sausages to dip in chilli & sweet tomato / mustard mayo, sugar snap peas filled with houmous, berry kebabs with Belgian chocolate florentines, mature cheddar & onion chutney on tiny biscuits, tuna deli on bruchettini, baby mozzarella, olive and cherry tomato kebabs £3.50 per person.
BARBEQUE MENU; mature English sirloin steak, handmade Leicestershire beef / lamb burgers, Gloucester Old Spot / venison sausages, sweet chilli & lime marinated chicken breast, vegetable kebabs, breads, relishes, sauces - great value for £14 per person.
CORPORATE FUNCTIONS: A cost efficient way of feeding large numbers, a true Hog Roast is always popular. Inside or out, up to six pigs. Various buffet options - call us to discuss your requirements and get a competitive quote.
UNIQUE PATENTED OVEN: Our unique cooking method ensures that the pork is completely cooked through - it is safe to eat and tastes amazingly good. We temperature probe the meat at regular intervals during cooking to ensure that the meat will be safe. If you are local, we can safely transport the fully cooked pig to you in our Insulated oven trailer, arriving ready to serve. The meat temperature will not fall below 65c. This method has been approved by the Food Standards for our ovens.
